      (Clouse, 2008, Chapter 15) If management would follow through on their threats then there wouldn’t be unproductive workers.
      Moody Transportation Company has been in the trucking business for 10 years and they have experienced problems like many other transportation companies with a large amount of accidents. Most of the accidents resulted from newly inexperienced drivers. The company soon realized that they needed to eliminate some of their workers and hire new workers with more experience. The turnover rate   was high because they were more concerned about production rather than safety and they almost lost their license. Management quickly realized that they needed to hire experienced drivers and increase the pay to solve the problem.
      Meanwhile, a new problem occurred when Moody transportation kept some of their old employees and hired new experienced employees.
      The continual problem is that the senior employees began abusing the time log and the new experienced drivers with less tenor suffered from a pay loss due to the fact they were not able to work the number of hours they were promised when they were hired
      (Sekaran, 2003)Some other concerning factors are employee time log abuse, and unsatisfied workers and the factor is poor management performance. Moreover, poor management performance is the cause for these redundant concerning factors like, employee time log abuse and the unsatisfied workers.
      Going forward, it’s important that companies create a continual guideline to conduct business research. It’s an organized systematic way to investigate a particular problem that occurs in the workplace that is in dire need of a solution.
